Pre-owned Rolex Air-King ref 14000 (2001 - 2002) came to market in the late 1980s and continued production until well into the 2000s, when the 6-digit generation replaced it. With this model, which replaced the much-beloved vintage 55XX series, the collection gained a sapphire crystal instead of the previous acrylic and the then-new caliber 3000, which was replaced in later models by the caliber 3130. Furthermore, depending on the year the watch was made, it will feature either Tritium, Luminova, or Super-LumiNova. The Rolex 14000 for sale here from circa 2000 features the latter and displays the time on a very desirable Explorer-style dial, giving the watch a sportier aesthetic despite its entry-level roots.
